WILL KEANE is at the center of a three-way transfer battle from championship clubs Watford, QPR and Sheffield United.

The Wigan striker was League One’s top scorer with 26 goals last season as the Latics returned to the second tier of English football as champions.

Keane, who is valued at £1m with one year remaining on his contract, has also attracted interest from Belgian outfit Club Brugge.

The 29-year-old scored 27 times in all competitions and won the Wigan’s Players’ Player of the Year award for his outstanding performances.

Keane also picked up the third division golden boot.

Keane, who began his career at Manchester United and is the twin brother of Everton and England defender Michael, has been included in the Republic of Ireland squad preparing for four Nations League games next month. starting against Armenia on June 4.
