Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Richarlison, but it seems that the Everton forward wants to move to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur instead.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Everton star Richarlison is interested in joining Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham have discussed the possibility of signing the 25-year-old Brazil international forward during talks with Everton over Harry Winks, according to Romano.
90min reported this month that Arsenal are keen on signing Richarlison and have already made contact with Everton over a potential move for the Brazilian, described as “a fantastic, huge talent” by Toffees manager Frank Lampard in The Liverpool Echo in May 2022.
Arsenal target Richarlison open to Tottenham move
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur have the advantage over bitter North London rivals Arsenal in the race for Everton forward Richarlison.
Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League next season and also have a world-class manager in Antonio Conte in charge of the first team.
Moreover, with Everton interested in Winks, Tottenham could use the midfielder as a bargaining chip to sign Richarlison, who has scored 48 goals in 173 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
