And now music lovers can enjoy Change – a psych-funk track full of heavy synths and influenced by 70s hits like T. Rex and Parliament Funkadelic.
DECIDE – Djo’s new album – is the sequel to TWENTY TWENTY, his critically acclaimed 2019 guitar-forward record.
The new work will have Joe’s reflections on growth, relationships and dealing with a technology-centric world in the late twenties.

DECIDE was made with musician / engineer Adam Thein in the midst of the pandemic, with the latest recording taking place at Sound Factory in Los Angeles.
TWENTY TWENTY was also his first solo attempt since leaving his band, the Chicago psych rock outfit Post Animal.
Despite the breakout star’s reputation as Steve Harrington’s fan favorite in Stranger Things, Joe’s been making music since he was a teenager.
He spent more than two years with Post Animal before making his solo debut as Djo.
From the release of TWENTY TWENTY and the following singles, Djo’s music has been a huge success.
#Djo has garnered nearly 42 million hits on TikTok, with over 100 million worldwide Spotify and Apple streams. Joe himself publishes all his music through AWAL.
Djo will perform live in 2022, testing DECIDE’s songs on the road and performing at Shaky Knees, Boston Calling and Bottle Rock festivals so far this year.
Legacy: Since the release of TWENTY TWENTY and subsequent singles, Djo’s music has been a huge success
Fans can catch him this summer and fall at Lollapalooza, Sea Hear Now and Austin City Limits Festival.
This is because music in the 1980s with waves of nostalgia in Stranger Things recently made waves when Kate Bush declared that ‘the world has gone crazy’ when she responded to the extraordinary success of her track Running Up That Hill from 1985 in a rare interview.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour podcast on Wednesday, the 63-year-old singer admitted that she “never imagined” that her song would become so popular after it was included in the Netflix hit.

The song originally reached number three in 1985, but reached number one 37 years later.
During the interview, Kate also told how she had not listened to the song for a ‘really long time’ and was actually a fan of Stranger Things before her song appeared in it.
Last week, Kate’s song – the main track on her Hounds Of Love album – peaked at number two behind Harry Style’s As It Was, but on Friday it was revealed that the 80’s song was the former One Direction star on the post had brought.

Kate has now become the oldest female singer to hold a UK No.
It’s Kate’s first number one single since her debut single, Wuthering Heights, reached number one in 1978 when she was just 19 years old. This means she also holds the record for the longest gap between number one with 44 years.
Running Up That Hill is currently also at number one spot in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and Switzerland, and has reached a new peak in the US charts at number four.
Earlier this month, the trailer for Volume 2 of the fourth season of Stranger Things was released.
