Brianna said she agreed to pick up an acquaintance’s son and take him home to his siblings and relieve the babysitter until the mother got home.

He went to the nursery where he gave them his name and the name of the child.

Brianna then picked up the boy and took them both home.

Once home, Brianna began to prepare a snack for the boy when his ‘siblings’ entered the room.

I received the most mortifying note from my neighbor: I am considering moving now

But then they revealed that it was not his brother and that he had, in fact, picked up the wrong child.

He checked his phone and the mother had sent him a message, writing: “PICKED UP THE WRONG KID.”

Shortly after, the police called Brianna in for questioning and she quickly realized how the mistake had been made.

The girl had the same name but was in a different room, he claimed everyone involved was angry and some people were even fired over the ordeal.

The initial video went viral with over 700k views and most people blamed the nursery staff for the mistake.

One wrote: “Former daycare manager…the onus is on the daycare in this case. This should NEVER have happened. Not your fault at all.”
