EASTENDERS star Jessie Wallace delighted fans by sharing a photo from her childhood today.
The 50-year-old looks unrecognizable in the snap taken in 1975 when she was just four years old while holding a monkey in Walthamstow Market.
She joked captioning the shot, “I’m the one in the flares!”
Her followers were quick to comment on it, with one person writing, “You are absolutely gorgeous then and now ❤.”
Another added: “That’s an amazing pic so cute x”
While someone else wrote, “The absolute cuteness, I am torn between who is cuter you or the monkey 😂❤”.
Jessie, whose real name is Karen, was born in Enfield in 1971 and raised by her father after her parents’ divorce when she was three years old.
Her fans were in awe when she turned 50 last year, thanks to her youthful appearance.
Jessie has been a fixture of EastEnders, on and off, for over two decades.
She first came to Albert Square as loud mouthed Kat along with the rest of the Slater family in 2000.
The character has been at the center of some of the soap’s biggest storylines, including when she was revealed to be the mother of her “little sister” Zoe.
He also won the hearts of viewers as part of a double act with Queen Vic owner Alfie Moon, with the pair even bagging a spin-off series called Redwater.
