Dan Single addresses rumors that he has rekindled his romance with Pip Edwards after spending ‘a lot of time together’ at Fashion Week: ‘I love and respect her as a friend and mother’

Dan Single has sparked speculation that he has rekindled his romance with ex-girlfriend Pip Edwards and the mother of his 15-year-old son, Justice Maximus.

The co-founder of Ksubi told The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential on Saturday that they are just good friends and he has nothing but ‘love and respect’ for his former flame, with whom he split in 2008.

Rumors swirled when Dan and Pip were seen ‘spending a lot of time together’ at the Paco Rabanne dinner for Australian Fashion Week in Sydney on Tuesday.

‘I attended the dinner at Paco Rabanne’s to support my best friend (and host of the event), Sarah [Ellen]’told Dan Confidential.

‘I came solo after DJs at IMG welcomed me to the fashion week party, and yup, Pip was there too and I hung out with her because I love and respect her as a friend and mother of our beautiful son Justice. ‘

Back in March, Pip, 42, denied that the couple shared anything more than ‘a co-parent relationship’ after they were seen dancing together at a charity event during the month.

Pip and Dan ‘dance a storm’ at the Silver Party hosted by Justin Hemmes, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

When asked if there was a reunion on the cards, PE Nation co-founder Pip told the newspaper, ‘Then the father of my children and we have a co-parent relationship’.

The couple divorced in 2008, but remained on good terms. Pip has continued to date cricketer Michael Clarke and Bondi restaurateur Cameron Northway.

The observation came after Dan reportedly refused an offer to star in Australian reality docu-soap series Byron Baes.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the fashion designer was approached to star on the show, but declined the offer.

Dan, who is the founder of the Australian fashion brand Ksubi, works as a DJ in Byron Bay and is a well-known face on the social circuit of the city.

He currently goes by the stage name ‘Dangerous Dan’, and often plays sets at local nightclubs and festivals.
