Football is an emotional sport, and the stakes are very high in the NFL. It’s not unusual to see a player or coach go fearless when a game, call, or game doesn’t go according to them. Even the greatest players aren’t exempt from losing their shit Sometimes, as we have seen Tom Brady on the field and sideline at times.
Because of Brady’s most recent shore explosionWhere they broke two league-issued tabloids, the NFL sent a memo warning all 32 NFL teams that any future such violations would be subject to “significant fines.”
Now footage of Buffalo has surfaced Bills Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey became the first to defy the league’s warning, which had been sent out less than a week ago. Dorsey was caught in the team’s booth tossing his tablet in desperation after the Bills lost dolphin Sunday afternoon. Dorsey, a former quarterback, broke the tablet several times.
So, here you go, the NFL, your first opportunity to back up that stern warning sent to every organization a few days ago. If the league wanted to set an example and make it impressive, they would have fined Brady and be done with it., Obviously, this was very difficult, so now everyone will watch over the next few days to see what the league has to say about Dorsey’s outburst.
It is unclear whether this new “rule” applies to coaches and other team personnel or if it is directed primarily at players. You’d think that anyone breaking league assets would be included under this umbrella, but you never know with the NFL. Oh boy, it must be good.
